Mr. Roberson
Greetings!
A little about me... I was born and raised in Georgia (countryside of town) and am a proud alumnus of many different prestigious colleges and universities. I graduated from Hephzibah High School with HONORS ranking 5 out of 256 graduates. Next, I attended and graduated from East Georgia State College, with an Associate of Arts in Criminal Justice and Psychology (Cum Laude). Afterward, I attended Georgia Southwestern State University (where I MADE HISTORY) and was the first undergrad to graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice (Cum Laude). Furthermore, I graduated from The University of Cincinnati with a Master of Science in Criminal Justice and Criminology with a concentration in Law Enforcement and Crime Prevention. Finally, I attended and graduated from Walden University with a Master of Philosophy in Criminal Justice. I will graduate this year with a Doctor of Philosophy in Criminal Justice. Currently, I am a Master of Arts in Teaching Special Education Candidate at Georgia College and State University and will graduate Spring 2025.
More so, I have been an educator for six years and taught in various settings, including Special Education, General Education Math and English, Honors English, Forensic Science, and Government courses at the middle and high school levels in Georgia and Florida. On the other hand, I served as a Reading Specialist and was in the Aspiring Leaders Program in Florida to become an assistant principal. My GOAL is to become a high school principal and be a zenith leader in the educational field. In addition, I like to spend time reading and researching various topics involving criminal justice, special education laws, school leadership, and learning about student growth and academic achievement.
I would like to personally WELCOME you to T.W. Josey High School for the 2024-2025 school year! I am one of the Learning Specialists in the Special Education Department. I look forward to working alongside students, parents, faculty and staff, administrators, and community stakeholders and hope you have a SUCCESSFUL ACADEMIC YEAR!
Your Partner in Education,
Mr. Roberson
