BSED Early Childhood Education- 2017; Augusta University.

Ms. Alexandria Faapue

I was born in American Samoa (US Territory) and raised in Hawaii on the island of Oahu. I moved to Augusta, GA in 2006 after high school. I have always wanted to be a teacher since kindergarten. However, I didn't go to college for it until 2012. I attended Augusta State University, which merged with MCG and changed our school name to Georgia Regents University, and then finally to Augusta University by the time I graduated in 2017. I started teaching in 2018 here at Freedom Park School and have been here since. This will be my 7th year teaching Kindergarten and I absolutely love it!

I spend most of my weeks either at school or at church. I love to read, play my ukulele and sing karaoke on my free time. I have two dogs named Kodiak and Happy waiting for me at home every day. They keep me grounded as well as my family. My favorite colors are Navy Blue and Silver. My favorite shape is a five point star, so you know I am a Dallas Cowboys fan! My favorite books are from the Harry Potter Series (I have all 7 books and movies) and the Shadow Children Series by Margaret Peterson Haddix.

I do not have any biological children, but every student who walks into my classroom is definitely leaving my classroom as one of "my kids" every year. Every school year has been different since I started, and it has made me the teacher I am today: resilient, flexible and very understanding. Looking forward to another great year with my new Foxes!
