Fox Behavior
-
In our classroom, we have a behavior chart that we use to reward good behavior and reinforce classroom rules. Everyone begins the week on green (Ready to learn) and they can either move up or down the chart depending on their behavior. If a child clips down, they have the opportunity to "fix it" so they can move back up. If your child comes home with a yellow or orange, I have met with this student and discussed their behavior. When a child is on red, I will contact or notify parents about it. At the beginning of the year, we as a class discuss school rules and appropriate/ inappropriate behavior and make our classroom rules. These are the rules that will determine whether they go up or down the behavior chart. We will also be using Class Dojo points to reinforce appropriate classroom behavior. Students can earn points and lose points on Class Dojo. Each student will start each day with 5pts (Ready to learn). Unlike the behavior chart, the points reset at the end of the day whereas the colors reset weekly.
