Volunteer Process

  • In order to participate on field trips, club days or any other school related activity, you must be a registered volunteer with Richmond County Schools. The process is as follows:

    Step 1: Complete the Mandated Reporter training. (Print the certificate that you will receive once completed. You will need to bring this to the volunteer class.)

    Step 2: Attend the volunteer class. (Dated TBA)

    Step 3: Background Check

    Step 4: Fingerprints (for level 3 volunteers)

    Step 5: You will receive an email to notify you of approval within 2 weeks.
