WELCOME PANTHERS!
My name is Ms. Shundra Johnson, but I'd rather go by Coach Shun. I was born and raised in Decatur, Ga and later migrated to Augusta on a full basketball scholarship to Augusta State University. I have a background in providing therapy to the community, ensuring the well-being of at-risk youth in Foster Care, working with troubled youth, serving as a Correctional Counselor/Sergeant at a Youth Development Campus, etc.
This is my 3rd year teaching Life Science, and I am ecstatic to have the opportunity to teach your young scholar! Life Science ranges from gaining a clear understanding of cells and heredity, evolution, human body systems, ecosystems, etc.
I’m also satisfied to say that I’m going into my third year as the Track Coach for our Lady Panthers. If you’re interested in being a member of our ladies track team, please come to classroom 634 to sign up ASAP!
Parents, please ensure you encourage our Science Scholars, as I plan to work closely with all families through a positive atmosphere of communication and consistency!
