Hello Panthers' Family,

         My name is Fedalyia Terry and I will teach Math 6 this school year. I am excited to be a member of the Panther family that will help your child receive a high quality eduaction, and be engaged by learning different way of math. 

         While 6th grade is a year of growth, I will continue to do my best to deliver a high-quality education for all students based on data-driven decisions. Data-driven decisions come from the following: Diagnostic Assessments, Benchmark Assessments, Formative and Summative Assessments, and the state-wide Georgia Milestone Assessment. To help students feel more empowered and achieve success; students will focus on mathematical modeling, statistical reasoning throughout each course and, together with the content standards, prescribe that students experience mathematics as a coherent, useful, and logical subject that makes use of their ability to make sense of problem situations. Students must also engage in mathematical discoursures, show work at all times, and not be afraid to make mistakes. MISTAKES show that they are LEARNING!

         To shine a little light on me. I was born/raised in Augusta, Georgia. I graduated from T.W.Josey High School in 2016. After graduating from T.W.Josey High School, I attended and graduated from Morris College which is located in Sumter, SC. I was persuded into teaching by my uncle in the summer of 2022. I worked for Amazon in West Columbia; Club Car in Augutsa, Georgia; and Perrr-fect Packing in Augusta, Ga. This will be my second year teaching in Richmond County. I spent a year at Hephzibah Middle School, and now, I'm at Pine Hill. I am excited about teaching every child on my team this school year!

         I look forward to a collaborative and healthy working relationship between parents-guardians, students, and myself this school year!
