Hello,
I am excited about participating in the Cyber Academy of Excellence at Richmond County Technical Magnet School. I am glad you have chosen to become a Cyber Security Professional. I am looking forward to a momentous year. I am currently teaching Introduction to Software and Network and Support.
I look forward to teaching you how to master Information Technology concepts while preparing you to be a Cyber Security or Computer Science Professional.
Mission: To provide students, staff, and parents with learning experiences to promote world-class thinkers with the implementation of effective STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education which ensures students are well-equipped to meet the challenges in the world that does not yet exist.
Education: I graduated third in my class from Lucy C. Laney High School. I attended Fort Valley State University after graduation. I transferred and received my bachelor's degree from the University of South Carolina in Computer Science and Mathematics. I later received a master's degree from Troy State University in Instructional Technology and a Specialist Degree from Cambridge College in Educational Leadership.
Work History: I interned at the Department of Energy in Golden, Colorado. I worked in Corporate World as a Customer Service Representative. I taught 6-12 grade Math for fourteen years in the Richmond County School System and one year in Stanley, North Dakota. I am currently in my fourth year of leading Cyber Security.
Hobbies: I love to work on computers, travel, figure out complicated problems, and help others.
Together we will have an AWESOME YEAR!
