Mrs. Annie Franklin

Hello,

My name is Mrs. Franklin and I am excited and look forward to a great, engaging and productive year of great education.  I have a background of 29 years in the  medical profession. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Masters of Arts in Human Services Counseling: Family Advocacy Public Policy and the Future.  I am currently pursuing a doctorate degree in Community Care & Counseling, Marriage and Family.  It is my pleasure to serve the educational needs of the students and to work with faculty, staff, parents and the community.  To everything there is a season.  This is the season for educators to plant the seeds of knowledge into our students so that they can go on and reap a great harvest. In my spare time, I enjoy going to church, singing, gardening, and DIY projects.

I’m excited to be your 9th -12th grade Geometry, Algebra, and Advanced Algebra teacher this year. I look forward to a year of shared math experiences! I will be available for tutoring Monday-Friday from 2:15pm-2:55pm. Whether we’re exploring the angles and shapes of Geometry, unraveling the mysteries of Algebra, or diving into the complexities of Advanced Algebra, we’re going to have an amazing year full of learning, growth, and discovery.

What to expect in our class:

  • Interactive Learning: We’ll be using a variety of methods and tools to make math come alive, from hands-on activities to the latest technology.

  • Real-World Connections: I strive to show how math applies to real life, helping you see the value of what you’re learning and how it can be used in the future.

  • Supportive Environment: Everyone learns at their own pace, and I’m here to support you no matter where you are on your math journey. Don’t be afraid to ask questions or seek help.

  • Challenging and Fun: While math can be challenging, it’s also a lot of fun! We’ll tackle complex problems together and celebrate our successes along the way.

Get involved:

I encourage students and parents alike to stay engaged throughout the year. Whether it’s through our class website, email updates, or parent-teacher conferences, I believe in open communication and collaboration.

Thank you for visiting my page, and I’m looking forward to an incredible year together! Let’s make this year one of growth, achievement, and a deeper understanding of math.

Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or just want to say hello. Here’s to a fantastic year of learning!  I look forward to a great 2024-2025 school year!
