     STUDENTS ACHIEVEMENT                                 STDUENT ACHIEVEMENT

CUDO'S TO THE CLASS OF 2018 FOR ACHIEVING AND EXCEEDING RCTCM GEORGIA MILESTONE EOC TEST PROJECTIONS AND RCTCM  USH MILESTONE PAST RESULTS.  RANKING JUST BEHIND DAVIDISON AND A.R. JOHNSON, RCTCM US HISTORY STUDENTS ACHIEVED APPROXIMATELY A 94% PASS RATE ON THIS CHALLENGING EXAM.  MANY STUDENTS EXCEEDED THE STATE AVERAGE.

WE WORKED HARD AND MET ALL THE RIGOR AND CHALLENGES FACED THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.  INSTEAD OF GIVING UP, MANY OF MY STUDENTS CAME TO AFTER SCHOOL TUTORIALS.  INSTEAD OF GIVING UP, MANY STUDENTS CAME TO SATURDAY STUDY SESSIONS.  INSTEAD OF ADMITTING DEFEAT, MANY STUDENTS ATTENDED SUNDAY STUDY SESSIONS...AND IT ALL PAID OFF.

I AM LOOKING TO PUSH THE BAR WITH THE CLASS OF 2019, AND I AM CHALLENGING MY STUDENTS TO ACHIEVE A 100% PASS RATE ON THE GEORGIA MILESTONE STANDARDIZED TEST.  IT IS POSSIBLE WITH HARD WORK AND PERSEVERANCE!  WE, AS A TEAM,  WILL WORK HARD IN CLASS AND OUTSIDE OF CLASS TO MEET THIS CHALLEGNE.

I AM ECOURAGING EACH OF YOU TO PREPARE YOURSELF NIGHTLY BY COMPLETING ALL HOME WORK ASSIGNMENTS AND STUDYING  NOTES AND TERMS.  AS A TEAM, "EVERYONE" HAS TO BE COMMITTED TO "EXCELLENCE."

TEAM JONES RCTCM UNITED STATES HISTORY CLASS!!!!

LOOKING FORWARD TO ACHIEVEING AND EXCEEDING,

    MRS. YUSHEVER JONES

    ACADEMIC INTEGRITY

    HELLO PARENTS AND STUDENTS,

AS WE LEARN, UNCOVER AND DISCUSS NEW INFORMATION IN USH, IT IS IMPORTANT THAT WE DEDICATE SOME TIME AND EFFORT INTO UNDERSTANDING AND MEMORIZING THIS INFORMATION.  QUIZZES, TO INCLUDE THOSE THAT ARE UNANNOUNCED, WILL FORCE YOU TO STAY PREPARED IN ORDER TO REMAIN SUCCESSFUL IN THIS HISTORY CLASS.  TO PREPARE YOU MUST READ OVER YOUR NOTES AND VOCABULARY TERMS NIGHTLY.

AS A REVIEW, YOU WILL GRADE YOUR OWN ASSESSMENTS.  RED PENS WILL BE PROVIDED.  WHEN THAT PROCESS BEGINS, YOU ARE INSTRUCTED TO PUT AWAY YOUR OWN WRITING UTENSIL(S)...IT SHOULD BE OUT OF SITE...PLACED IN YOUR BOOK BAGS, PURSES, ETC.  AFTER YOU HAVE BEEN INSTRUCTED TO REMOVE YOUR PENS AND PENCILS FROM YOUR DESK (ALWAYS SEVERAL TIMES), AND YOU ARE CAUGHT WITH ONE IN YOUR HAND WHILE WE ARE GRADING,  A GRADE OF ZERO WILL BE GIVEN.

PLEASE STUDENTS TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE REVIEW. PAY PARTICULAR ATTENTION TO THE ANSWERS YOU MAY HAVE GOTTEN WRONG, SO THAT YOU CAN STUDY THOSE STANDARDS FOR YOUR RE-TEST.  DON'T JEOPARDIZE YOUR AVERAGE FOR A LAPSE IN JUDGEMENT.  IF YOU FAIL A TEST, YOU CAN RE-TEST (IF YOU COME TO TUTORING AND PREPARE FOR THE TEST).  YOU FORFEIT RETESTING IF YOU ARE CAUGHT CHEATING AND YOU EARN A GRADE OF ZERO.

    YOU ARE CHEATING IF-

1.YOU LOOK ON ANOTHER STUDENTS PAPER AFTER TESTING HAS BEGUN

    2. YOU ARE CAUGHT TALKING AFTER TESTING HAS BEGUN

    3. YOU ARE CAUGHT W/ A CHEAT SHEET OR NOTES ON ANY PART OF YOUR BODY ( EX. HAND)

    4. YOU HAVE YOUR PEN IN HAND AFTER INSTRUCTIONS ARE GIVEN TO PUT YOUR WRITING UTENSILS AWAY AND GRADING PAPERS/TEST REVIEW HAS BEGUN; IF YOU ARE CAUGHT CHANGING ANSWERS

    5. YOU ARE CAUGHT WITH YOUR CELLULAR DEVICE IN HAND EITHER LOOKING UP INFORMATION, TAKING A PICTURE OF THE TEST OR TEXTING SOMEONE FOR ANSWERS

    6. ETC.

LET US CONTINUE TO STRIVE TO BE ACADEMICALLY HONEST.  TOGETHER WE CAN WORK ON REINFORCING THOSE DEFICIENT AREAS.  I AM HERE EARLY MOST MORNING AND DO NOT MIND STAYING LATE IN THE AFTERNOON.

TOGETHER WE CAN AND WILL EXCEED EXPECTATIONS IN USH.

    THANK YOU,

    MRS. JONES
