Hi! I am so excited to be part of your child's educational journey this year! This is my first year in Richmond County; however, this is my 24th year in the teaching profession. I have taught 5th grade through college, but middle school is my absolute favorite. I graduated from the University of NC at Pembroke with a Bachelor's degree in English Literature; Fayetteville State University with a degree in Middle Grades Education; University of NC at Pembroke with a Master of Arts in Reading Education; and The University of Georgia with a Specialist of Education in Educational Psychology (Gifted and Creative Education). Needless to say, I LOVE to learn, and I hope to impress that upon my students! I am a licensed Reading Specialist (PK-12), and I am certified in English Language Arts (4-8), Social Science (4-8), and Gifted Education.  I am so excited to be at Pine Hill, and I look forward to a successful year! :-)
