Spring 2020 Learning from Home Info

Ms. Wittke's 7th Grade Science Students should log in to their Teams app on Office 365 for files and assignments.  Work will also still be posted to the class calendar and the resources page.

Please sign up for the Remind account for communication.  The Remind join code for my 7th grade is 733f34. (Parents, the Remind app only allows us 150 participants per class.  I recommend that we only have one Remind member per household.  If the group gets full, I may have to open a separate group just for parents so we can stay under the 150 member capacity.)  My email is also still open for communication and I will be checking it regularly throughout the day on weekdays.

AP Biology students:  You should continue to monitor the Remind App and the Files page for information instructions and uploads, as usual.

    About Ms. Wittke

I am a DFA grad... GO Dynamite Crew of 92!  I attended UGA but ultimately graduated from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville in 1997 with a degree in Biology.  I started teaching in 2000.  I taught Biology at Westside High School for 14 years.  I have also taught Advanced Placement Biology, Environmental Science, Anatomy & Physiology, Physical Science, Chemistry, and Forensic Science. In 2009 I earned my M.Ed. from Georgia Southern University in Teaching and Learning with a concentration in Science.  I am currently working on my Ed.S.

I have four terrific children...three sons and a step-son.  Three of them are in college and I still have an 8 year old at home.  I love traveling and spending time with my family, though I always wish there was more time!  I love good science jokes and puns.... so share your favorite ones with me!
