AP Calculus AB is designed to be the equivalent of a first-semester college calculus course devoted to topics in differential and integral calculus. The course features a multirepresentational approach to calculus, with concepts, results, and problems expressed graphically, numerically, analytically, and verbally. Exploring the connections between these representations builds an understanding of how calculus applies limits to develop important ideas, definitions, formulas, and theorems. A sustained emphasis on clear communication of methods, reasoning, justifications, and conclusions is essential (AP Calculus AB and BC CED, 2020).
AM Tutoring Availability : Wednesday---------------7:45-8:15 AM
To attend tutoring sessions, students will need to retrieve a pass during class signed by Mrs Jackson. In the event a student forgets to get a pass, the student may use one of their three emergency tutoring passes provided at the beginning of the school year.
Reassessment days: Friday 7:30 AM (specific dates TBD after a major assessment grade is released)
