The AP Capstone Diploma program represents the pinnacle of advanced academic achievement offered by the College Board. This prestigious program helps students develop critical thinking, research, collaboration, and presentation skills that are essential for success in college and beyond.

What is the AP Capstone Diploma?
The AP Capstone program consists of two year-long courses: AP Seminar and AP Research.

• In AP Seminar, students explore real-world issues from multiple perspectives, analyze information from various sources, and develop arguments based on evidence.
• In AP Research, students design, plan, and conduct a year-long research-based investigation on a topic of their choice, culminating in a 4,000-5,000 word academic paper and an oral presentation.

Students who score a 3 or higher in both courses, along with four additional AP exams of their choosing, earn the prestigious AP Capstone Diploma.
