RCSS Volunteerism Cord Application
Purposes: The Silver Volunteerism Cord is awarded to High School Seniors who have demonstrated commitment making a positive difference in the community. It signifies that the senior has completed a set number of hours of community service through a non-profit organization.
Eligibility Requirements:
- 35 hours of community service (All students can count previous volunteer experiences participation accumulated from thier 9th-12th grade years to meet service hours eligibility requirements.
- The volunteer hours can be accomplished in a variety of ways such as volunteering for a church, civic organization, non-profit summer camp, school and/or hospital. Virtual participation is acceptable.
- All service hours will be verified by the school counselor.
- Submission of digital application
- RCSS Volunteerism Cord Student Volunteer/Community Service Sheet.
