About me:

My name is Ryan Selby. I'm from Atlanta,Ga., born and raised. I attended the North Atlanta High School class of 2012. I moved to Augusta in 2018 and got married to my beautiful wife An'jonai in June of 2021. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking and playing video games. I am excited to be part of the Health and Physical Education Department at Hephzibah High School.

I attended Albany State University and graduated with a degree in Health and Human Performance in 2016. I played for Albany State University from 2012-2016, where I played Strong Safety and was part of the 2013 SIAC championship team.  I am currently pursing my Masters Degree in Special Education at Liberty University.

This will be my fifth year teaching overall and third year teaching at Hephzibah High School. I started my teaching and coaching career at Lincoln County High School as an assistant PE teacher, assistant football coach and Head Boys Track and Field. In 2019, I transitioned to Academy of Richmond, as a Special Education Interralted Teacher and Assistant Football Coach. In 2020, I accepted a position at Hephzibah High School as Special Education Teacher. In 2021, I was promoted to Assistant Head Football Coach/Defensive Coordinator and Head Boys Track and Field. This will be my first year in the Health and Physical Education Department.
