Become a School Volunteer

  • Westside High School faculty and staff encourage ALL parents, guardians, and stakeholders to become a school volunteer. There are 3 levels. A Level 3 Certification is required for parents to be able to chaperon at school activities and events. All applicants for all levels are required to complete the following:
    1. Complete the online 2-hour Mandated Reporter training.
      • Must email a screenshot to Ms. Carter, or bring your printed certificate of completion with you to training. 
      • Must bring your drivers license. 
    2. Attend an in-person training with the school Parent Facilitator. (Ms. Carter)
    3. Level 3 applicants ONLY will need to complete a fingerprinting & background check and pay the fee ($39.25) at RCBOE Central Office.
