Dear Students and Families,

Welcome to the new school year! My name is Ashley Gant, and I am excited to be your child’s ESOL/ELL teacher. I look forward to working with you and your student as we grow together in English language skills and academic success.

In our class, we will focus on improving reading, writing, speaking, and listening in English. We will also explore topics that help students succeed in all their classes and feel confident in their school community.

I believe that every student brings unique strengths and experiences to the classroom. My goal is to create a safe, respectful, and encouraging environment where all students feel valued and supported.

• Class Expectations: Be respectful, try your best, and support each other.
• Communication: Please feel free to contact me through Remind or email.  Please let me know your preferred language for communication.
• Family Involvement: You are an important part of your child’s education. I welcome your questions, ideas, and support.
