The purpose of all Title Programs is to ensure that all children have a fair, equal, and significant opportunity to obtain a high-quality education. Title I provides technical assistance, resources, and program monitoring of the Richmond County School System's Title I schools to ensure that all children have an opportunity to obtain a high quality education and to achieve proficiency on high academic standards.
Title II provides assistance to increase student achievement, to improve the quality and effectiveness of teachers and school leaders, and to ensure that low-income, minority students have greater access to effective teachers and school leaders.
Title III focuses on the needs of English Learners and their families by providing funds to help ensure that English Learners, including immigrant children and youth, attain English proficiency and develop high levels of student achievement in English.
Title IV funds focus on providing all students with access to a well-rounded education, improving school conditions for student learning, and improving the use of technology for student achievement and digital literacy.
