The Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE) releases an annual Local Education Agency (LEA) Report. The LEA Report provides a snapshot of each public school district’s performance.

This report includes important information about how our district is doing in areas such as:

• Student achievement and test performance

• Graduation rates and college/career readiness

• School climate and safety ratings

• Equitable access to programs and advanced coursework

• Teacher and staff effectiveness

The goal of the LEA Report is to give families, educators, and the community a clear, transparent look at how we’re serving our students and where we can improve.

The Richmond County School System is asking for your feedback! As we finalize our Fiscal Year 2025 Consolidated LEA Improvement Plan (CLIP), we invite parents, families, educators, and community members to share their input on better supporting student achievement, educator development, and family engagement.

This plan outlines key priorities for the upcoming school year, including:

• Improving student content mastery across all grade levels

• Supporting and retaining highly effective teachers and leaders

• Increasing graduation rates and college and career readiness

• Strengthening family and community engagement
