PHASE III - ESPLOST

  • In 2006, the community supported a third Program with significant voter support.   Phase III of the Richmond County ongoing Building Program consisted of 41 projects including the following: 223 new classrooms, New Vocational / Technical Magnet High School, 14 major renovations and addition projects and 22 infrastructure (roof, HVAC, technology) and contingency projects. 

     

    As a result of additional collections during Phase III, savings from the Phase III Program, and investments from these dollars, further projects were able to be completed as a part of Phase III beyond the origina scope.  Additional projects / scope include the following:

     

    • Hephzibah Middle School HVAC / Roofing project - this project was not originally advertised.
    • Sego Middle School New Roofing / HVAC project - this project was not orginally advertised.
    • Spirit Creek Middle School HVAC / Roofing project - this project was not originally advertised.
    • C.T. Walker Elementary School Roof / HVAC project - this project was not originally advertised.
    • Willis Foreman Elementary School HVAC / Roofing project - this project was not originally advertised.
    • Bus Maintenance / Office Upgrades / Training Center

     

    The total Phase III Program was approximately $194,477,000.00 and completed in 2012.
