The tentative millage rate for FY21 was approved for 18.4190 mills at a Called Board Meeting on August 4, 2020 at the rollback rate. Final approval of the tentative millage rate will occur at a Called Board Meeting at 4:00 PM on August 18, 2020.
SPLOST

The citizens of Richmond County voted for a Special Local Option Sales Tax to support the school system in three major areas: textbooks, transportation, and technology. Phase 5 of the SPLOST was voted on and approved by the tax payers for the period of July 1, 2017 thru June 30, 2022. An oversight committee was formed to oversee the spending of these funds.
