The Richmond County School System has established a Sick Leave Donation Program designed to provide compassionate support to employees facing severe medical adversity. This initiative enables staff members to voluntarily transfer accrued sick leave to colleagues who are experiencing a catastrophic illness or injury and have exhausted all available leave balances, including non-accumulative and extended illness sick leave, thereby mitigating the financial impact associated with unpaid leave.
