• New Turf FieldsPHASE VI – ESPLOST

Phase VI ESPLOST passed in 2020 when the community supported a sixth Program with significant voter support.   The program consisted of four (4) expansion and renovation projects, two (2) regeneration projects, a historic renovation project, a solar project, two (2) new K-5 schools,

baseball/softball field project, an infrastructure project, and several Roofing / HVAC projects for a total of 26 projects.

Additionally, in response to the ever-increasing vital role of technology in today’s global society and to provide opportunities for all students, the Phase VI budget includes an important allocation for the purchase of a substantial number of School System computers for individual student use, as well as other technology needed to increase student learning.

Over $40 million was budgeted to provide the technology needs as well as acquiring textbooks, vehicles, school buses for our students, and other vehicles for the safety, security, and maintenance of school facilities.
