Georgia law requires parents or guardians who teach children at home to submit to the Georgia Department of Education (GADOE) the "Declaration of Intent" form, which can be submitted online or by mail and must be submitted within 30 days after the establishment of a home school program any by September 1st annually thereafter.  It is also required that you submit The Declaration of Intent form to the Richmond County School you are withdrawing your child from, during the withdrawal process.
